With thirty years as a police officer in central California, Bill is ready to retire and spend more time with his wife, sons and new pal, Jessie.
Jessie is a 14 year old mare from Decatur, Texas. She has been trained as a team roping horse on the head side. She has a sweet disposition and smooth gait.
Bill enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1988 while attending High School. He found himself assigned to 2nd Bat. 3rd Marines STA Platoon (Scout/Sniper) and was deployed during Operations Desert Shield and Storm.
Following his military service Bill pursued a career in Fire Service that never took shape but he was quickly hired by a police department in Northern California. During his career, Bill worked with several different departments in several different units including patrol, investigations, SWAT, motors and field training.
Bill retired from Morgan Hill Police Department in December 2024 and has big plans. Bill wants to work with Jessie to improve his horsemanship and team rope.
